നവംബര്‍ 19 ഞായര്‍ - പാപ്പാ ഫ്രാന്‍സിസ് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച പാവങ്ങള്‍ക്കായുള്ള പ്രഥമ ആഗോള ദിനം ആചരിക്കപ്പെടും.
“ദാരിദ്ര്യം ആകസ്മികമല്ല! അതിനാല്‍ നിരവധിയായ നമ്മുടെ സഹോദരങ്ങളുടെ നന്മയ്ക്കായി, ദാരിദ്ര്യത്തിനുള്ള കാരണങ്ങള്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കി അത് നിര്‍മ്മാര്‍ജ്ജനംചെയ്യാന്‍ നമുക്ക് ഒത്തൊരുമിച്ചു പരിശ്രമിക്കാം.”
നവംബര്‍ 16-Ɔ൦ തിയതി വ്യാഴാഴ്ച @pontifex എന്ന ഹാന്‍ഡിലില്‍ പാപ്പാ ഫ്രാന്‍സിസ് ഈ സന്ദേശം കണ്ണിചേര്‍ത്തത്. ഇംഗ്ലിഷ്, ഇറ്റാലിയന്‍, അറബി, ലാറ്റിന്‍, ജര്‍മ്മന്‍ എന്നിങ്ങനെ 9 ഭാഷകളില്‍ പാപ്പാ സന്ദേശം കണ്ണിചേര്‍ത്തിരുന്നു.
