四旬期在性质上是希望的时期，因为它引领我们再次“由上而生”，在天主的爱内重生。

La Quaresima è per sua natura tempo di speranza perché ci conduce a rinascere “dall’alto”, dall’amore di Dio.

Lent is, by nature, a time of hope because it leads us to be born anew “of the spirit”, by the love of God.

Quadragesimale tempus suapte natura secum fert spem ut “ex alto” renascamur, Dei scilicet per amorem.
