Vatican Weekend for July 9, 2016
(Vatican Radio) Vatican Weekend for July 9, 2016 features Alexander MacDonald’s report focusing on a special audience in the context of the Jubilee of Mercy’ held by Pope Francis on Thursday 30th June. This is followed by a visit to the Shrine of ‘Divine Mercy’ at Łagiewniki which Pope Francis will visit end of July, a place linked to Saint John Paul II in a special way.The second part of the programme features a spiritual reflection by the title of 'Men are from Mars, Women from Venus" by Monsignor Peter Fleetwood, a potted history of the Popes of the twentieth century and a sound picture of Blessed Paul VI and the 1963 moon landing.
