Vatileaks trial resumes in Vatican

(Vatican Radio) The so-called “Vatileaks II” trial resumed on Wednesday in Vatican City, with all five defendants present.

During the days proceedings were largely dedicated to the interrogation of Francesca Immacolata Chaouqui, a former PR consultant accused of divulging confidential documents and other information to the press.

The next hearing is scheduled for Monday 11 April.
