
(Vatican Radio) US Secretary of State John Kerry
arrived in Moscow Tuesday to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov about
the situation in Syria.
The objective of Kerry's visit will be to address differences with Russian leaders
regarding Syrian president Bashar al-Assad’s role in any political transition in the
region. The meetings are also aimed to discuss which rebel groups should be part of
peace talks.
