'Vatican Weekend' for Saturday 31st of October

(Vatican Radio) 'Vatican Weekend' for Saturday 31st of October features a report on the weekly general audience of Pope Francis with pilgrims from across the world, a feature to mark the 50th anniversary of the Vatican II document 'Nostra Aetate' for the series 'A Scrap Book in Sound' which includes the witness of Cardinal Francis Arinze. This is followed by a programme in which Monsignor Leo Maasburg recounts episodes from daily life behind the iron curtain in Slovakia's capital  Bratislava, including a meeting with the late Cardinal Jàn Chryzostom Korec. To end the broadcast Monsignor Peter Fleetwood of the Liverpool Archdioces tells us why we should pray to the memory of our dear departed.
