Slovenia extends army's power to guard border with Croatia


(Vatican Radio)  Slovenia’s Parliament on Tuesday gave more power to army forces helping police guard the state border with Croatia as thousands of migrants flood into the country. 

The Balkans are struggling to cope with the influx of refugees and forced migrants after Hungary sealed off its borders and the autumn cool sets in.

Lydia O'Kane spoke to our correspondent Stefan Bos who is on hand at the Slovenian border talking to refugees.
