Canadian delegate at World Meeting of Families

(Vatican Radio)  René Laprise, Media Director for the Canadian Catholic Bishops’ Conference, is among the participants at the World Meeting of Families taking place in Philadelphia.

In an interview with Vatican Radio’s Chris Altieri he spoke about his impressions so far of the event and paid tribute to the excellent organization and the quality of the speakers.

Laprise noted that this event is celebrating the beauty of the family and said his message for Pope Francis would be to continue to focus mostly on the positive elements of the family, whilst not hiding the challenges that it faces.
