Putting Mercy to Work: To shelter the homeless

(Vatican Radio) As people flee war and persecution and make their way to Europe in search of a better life, rarely before has the issue of displacement and homelessness been so closely under the spotlight.   In this week's edition of  “Putting Mercy to Work”, Vatican Radio’s programme on the seven spiritual and seven corporal works of mercy, we look at the fourth corporal work, “to shelter the homeless”.

We ask Monsignor John Kennedy, an Official at the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, how we can integrate our faith with our actions on this issue and we reflect on the life of Jesus, who was a man without fixed roots.
