An artistic masterpiece housed in Santo Stefano del Cacco

Well join Professor of Fine Arts Breda Ennis in the Church of Santo Stefano del Cacco as she shares with Veronica Scarisbrick her admiration for Perin del Vaga masterpiece housed therein. More precisely his expertise in the painting of a fresco representing the 'Deposition' which goes back to the fifteen hundreds

Rather curiously this fresco was painted over by a larger one, which in the background showed the Golgotha. The remainder of this larger fresco can still partly be seen beside this Pietà.
