SpaceX launch postponed

(Vatican Radio) US company SpaceX has postponed an experiment to bring part of its Falcon rocket down to a soft landing on a floating sea platform, citing an unspecified technical issue.

The company will now try for a launch on Friday.

If the company can demonstrate the viability of the procedure, its practice could translate into significantly lower launch costs.
