Veni, Sancte Spiritus, thou of all consolers best

(Vatican Radio) Knowing you are loved never wipes out the experience of rejection, says Monsignor Peter Fleetwood of the Liverpool archdiocese. Perhaps, he adds, what these people need to hear are the words of the 'Veni, Sancte Spiritus translated into English. In a special way he quotes from  the third verse of this hymn: "Thou of all consolers best, thou the soul's delightsome guest, dost refreshing peace bestow".
