ILO Conference underway in Geneva

(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis has sent a message to the International Labour Organisation conference which is underway in Geneva in which he calls for an increase in solidarity with workers and with those seeking work, as well as for greater protection of migrants’ rights.

The Pope denounces forced labour and the traffic in human beings as horrifying crimes against humanity, and calls on people everywhere to join forces to defeat this plague.

Gordon Martin reports on the conference from Geneva.
