Theology Rector in Jerusalem talks about the Pope’s visit to Yad Vashem


(Vatican Radio)  During his stay in Israel, Pope Francis will visit the Holocaust memorial at Yad Vashem as well as praying at the Western Wall and laying a wreath of flowers on Mount Herzl, named after the founder of modern Zionism, Theodor Herzl.  Father Giovanni  Caputa is the Acting Rector of the Theology Faculty at the Pontifical Salesian University in Jerusalem.  He spoke to Philippa Hitchen about the significance of the Pope’s visit to Yad Vashem.
