Jesuit Superior General announces upcoming General Congregation
(Vatican Radio) The Superior General of the Society of Jesus – the Jesuits – has announced
that he will resign in 2016. Father Adolfo Nicolas (pictured, meeting with Pope Francis),
the Jesuits’ 30th Superior General, also announced the convocation of the
Order’s 36th General Congregation which will elect his successor.
