Canadian Archbishop Durocher recalls memories of new saints
(Vatican Radio) For many of the Church leaders from around the word taking part in
the canonisation Mass in St Peter’s Square on Sunday morning, the historic event brought
back vivid memories of the short papacy of John XXIII and the lengthy pontificate
of John Paul II.
Among those concelebraing with Pope Francis at the Mass was
the Archbishop of Gatineau in Quebec, Canada, Paul-André Durocher. Later on Sunday,
he sat down with Laura Ieraci to talk about his memories of the two new saints and
the challenges they pose for young people in the Church today….
