Bing Crosby and The Mills Brothers

Multimedia star, Bing Crosby, was a leader in record sales, radio ratings, and motion picture box office grosses. Crosby’s early career coincided with innovations in recording techniques which allowed him to develop an intimate singing style that influenced many recording artists who followed; including Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin. Today (April 1^st) for Melodies & Memories Historical Recordings feature, we’ll be mixing Bing Crosby sides from the Thirties and Forties with a few by The Mills Brothers.
