Pope’s tweet warns society about eliminating God

March 29, 2014 - In a microblog on the social media on Saturday, Pope Francis warned that by eliminating God, society becomes heartless. “We live in a society that leaves no room for God; day by day this numbs our hearts,” the Pope wrote on his Twitter account @pontifex. The message recurs often in the Argentine Pope’s preaching, which he tangibly bears out in his actions and gestures, reaching out to the marginalized, the poor and the rejected.
