Vatican City, 18 March 2014: In a post on the social media on Tuesday, Pope Francis
tweeted on Christian love saying that it is the lesson of Good Samaritan and Jesus.
The Pontiff wrote on his Twitter account @pontifex: “Christian love is loving without
counting the cost. This is the lesson of the Good Samaritan; this is the lesson of
Jesus.”
Pope Francis has often spoken about Christian love and charity.
Pope Francis wrote on his Twitter account on 8th October 2013: The secret
of Christian living is love. Only love fills the empty spaces caused by evil.
The
Pope has now close to 11 million followers on his Twitter account @Pontifex. And the
re-tweeting of Pope’s message is reported to be reaching at least 60 million people.
The Pope’s English-language handle alone has over 3 million followers. The papal tweets
