Pope Francis reminds Christians of sacrificing during Lent.

March 05,2014: In a post on the social media on Ash Wednesday, Pope Francis reminded Christians of sacrificing during Lent, saying it is a good time for doing so. The Pontiff wrote on his Twitter account @ pontifex “Lent is a good time for sacrificing: let us deny ourselves something everyday to help others”.
The Pope now has 11 million followers on his Twitter account@ pontifex: And the re-tweeting of the Pope’s message is reported to be reaching more than 60 million people. The Pope’s English language handle alone has over 3 million followers. The papal tweets are published in 9 languages on the micro-blogging website.
