Pope Francis confirms Cardinal Rylko as President of Pontifical Council for Laity

(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis has confirmed Cardinal Stanislaw Rylko as President of the Pontifical Council for the Laity whilst Bishop Josef Clemens retains his position as Secretary
of the same Council.

The Holy Father has also named 16 people from around the world as members of the Council for the Laity including Cardinal Luis Tagle of Manila, Archbishop John Nue of Nairobi and Archbishop Charles Chaput of Philadelphia. A further group of 13 people has been named as consultors to the Council.
