1,500,000 people attend Pope’s General Audience in 2013
Vatican City, 18 December 2013: The Vatican has released on Wednesday the data of
the General audience of Pope Francis from 27 March to 18 December 2013. This is based
on the tickets issued by the Prefecture of the Papal Household. Accordingly, there
were more than one and a half million visitors, attended Pope’s General Audience on
Wednesdays, a figure to which must be added the faithful who have spontaneously participated
in the General audience along Via della Conciliatione.As per the statistics, the highest
number is recorded on 29 May with 90,000 people followed by 12 October with 85,000
people.
