(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis met on Saturday with some sick children, ill with leukemia
and various tumours, who came to Rome from Poland.
In the Vatican’s Consistory
Hally, the Pope extended a warm greeting to the children gathered there and thanked
them for their visit and for their prayers for the Church.
“You do much good
for the Church with your suffering, your inexplicable suffering… but God knows … and
also with your prayers,” he said.
“And it will be a pleasure for me to greet
each one of you,” he said, prior to giving them his blessing.
