The rights of children in ancient Rome...


(Vatican Radio) As the family is at the centre of weekend celebrations in the context of the Year of Faith in the Vatican this weekend we step back to the times of the ancient Romans to find out whether the Romans respected the rights of children. That's with our popular 'Latin Lover', Carmelite Father Reginald Foster who says: "as we understand rights perhaps not because the children were subjected to their father's 'patria potestas'...." ....
