(Vatican Radio) A twenty year old Mexican man has admitted murdering 45 people and
being involved in scores of other killings.
Twenty year old Juan Pablo Vazquez
was arrested in Mexico's northern city of Monterrey, along with a 25 year old woman.
They are accused of selling drugs. He then, however, told Police that he is murdered
45 people. They are investigating him for 34 more killings.
Police have not
said what cartel Vazquez is from. They are confirming that the majority of the killings
happened last year. He has also told investigators that his involvement with organized
crime started aged fifteen, then drug dealing and branching out to become an assassin.
Mexico's Drug War, which flared up in 2000, has claimed more than 8O,000 lives,
according to some experts.
