Pope Francis greets AsiaNews

October 10, 2013: An international symposium was held in the Aula Magna of the Pontifical Urban University in the Vatican on Wednesday, entitled "10 years of Asia - 10 years of our history" organized by the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions and the AsiaNews. During the conference it was announced that in the near future AsiaNews would publish a Spanish Edition. Articles in Spanish, translated by a priest and a layman from Argentina, will begin to appear from now on, on an experimental basis.

The Holy Father in his message, signed by the card. Bertone, greeted the participants and organizers and invited them to intensify efforts to raise awareness and missionary activity, so that the saving message of the Gospel comes in all suburbs of the world, while enhancing the close communion between the local Churches, intimately united with the successor of Peter, and promoting generous mutual help for each other.
