Pope’s prayerful message to Argentine president after surgery
09,Oct. 2013: Pope Francis on Wednesday sent a message to the President of his native
Argentina, Cristina Fernandez De Kirchner assuring her of his prayers for a speedy
recovery after a surgery. The president’s spokesman said that doctors removed a
blood clot pressuring the right side of Argentine President’s brain on Tuesday, relieving
pressure that had been giving her headaches and numbness. Expressing his prayers
and closeness, the Pope said he would pray to the Virgin Mary, our Lady of Lujan to
strengthen her so she could soon return to attend to her daily duties and responsibilities.
