Kenyan Muslims, Christians join in condemnation of mall terrorism
Sept 24, 2013: Christian and Muslim religious leaders in Kenya have joined in condemning
the murderous attack on the Westgate Mall by members of the Somalian radical group
al-Shabaab.
Adan Wachu, the secretary-general of the Supreme Council of Muslims
in Kenya, said that his group has sought to ensure inter-religious dialogue. “We are
convinced beyond doubt that the attempt to sow seeds of discord between Muslims and
Christians will fail miserably and that we shall remain united,” he said. (Source:
