Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem reveals details of pilgrimage

(Vatican Radio) Details of an upcoming pilgrimage organized by the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem was unveiled on Thursday at a press conference in the Vatican. Thousands of people are taking part in the pilgrimage to Rome from September 13^th to the 15^th which has been organized as part of initiatives to mark the ongoing Year of Faith. The Order also gave details of a 3-day meeting next week of its governing Council which is due to discuss a proposed revision of its current Statute. The new draft Statute will be passed to Pope Francis for his approval. The Grand Master of the Order is Cardinal Edwin O’Brien who spoke at the press conference about the Order’s charitable work to assist Christians living in the Holy Land as well as in Lebanon and Egypt.
