Saint Gregory the Great
(Vatican Radio) September 3rd marks the day the Church remembers Pope
Saint Gregory the Great, Doctor of the Church . For the occasion Veronica Scarisbrick
called on Father Innocenzo Gargano the former Prior General of the Camaldolese
community which was founded in 1012. He lives and works at this monastery located
on Rome’s Caelian hill, a place where Gregory once lived and one which has strong
ties with England..Listen :
