Australian pilgrims: Crossing the world to attend the WYD

(Vatican Radio) Some of the pilgrims who’ve come to the World Youth Day gathering have travelled to Rio de Janeiro from literally the other side of the world, namely Australia. Our correspondent Sean Patrick Lovett caught up with a couple of pilgrims from “Down Under” who spoke to him about their WYD experience. The first interviewee was Bernadette MacKenzie a young girl from Sydney whilst the second was Carlos Escobar, a young man from Melbourne.
