Cuba caught trying to ship weapons to North Korea

(Vatican Radio) Cuba has been caught trying to illegally transport weapons to North Korea for repair. The North Korean ship the Chong Chon Gang, was stopped and inspected in the Panama canal. Panamanian Authorities had become suspicious, when its satellite tracking system had been switched off and it has disappeared off the grid. That drew attention to it, and prompted the interception search mode. Ten thousand tons of sugar wasn't enough to conceal 240 tons of weapons including: Two anti-aircraft systems, missiles, two Mig fighter planes and 15 Mig engines. The Cuban government claims the weapons are obsolete, yet are used for defense. The United Nations is sending an inspection team from its Security Council. Transporting this tonnage of equipment by air, would have been quicker and more efficient, but a lot more costly. Now Cuba has got itself into a lot of diplomatic and international law violation deep water.
