Several tornadoes touched down on Friday in and around Oklahoma City, killing five
people and injuring 50 others. The tornadoes came just over a week after the nearby
town of Moore was hit by a category 5 twister which killed 24 people. The region
was fortunate because the storm touched down mostly in rural areas and missed central
Oklahoma City. However, rain flooded much of the area, with some streets being submerged
in as much as a meter of water. Listen:
