Pope’s invites everyone to join Corpus Christi celebration

(May 29, 2013) Pope Francis has invited everyone to join him in celebrating the feast of Corpus Christi on Thursday in Rome, when he will celebrate evening Mass in the Basilica of St. John Lateran, following which , he will preside over the Eucharistic procession to Mary Major Basilica.
Speaking in Italian at the end of his weekly general audience on Wednesday in St. Peter’s Square that was attended by thousands of tourists and pilgrims, the Pope said “I invite the faithful of Rome, and everyone to join in this act of profound faith in the Eucharist, which is the most precious treasure of the Church and of humanity”.
