Pope Francis’ surprise visit

Vatican City, 11 May 2013: Pope Francis made a surprise visit on Saturday morning to the clinic of Pope Pius XI in Rome, to find out about Cardinal Javier Lozano Barragán, who was hospitalized there for treatment, a Vatican communique revealed. Cardinal is the President Emeritus of the Pontifical Council for Health Pastoral Care. Pope Francis, who stopped to say hello to the staff of the Clinic, was impressed by the testimony of faith that the Mexican cardinal is giving, the communique added. He turned 80 on 26 January this year.
