Pope Francis prays for the victims of Bangladesh Tragedy

Vatican City, 27 April 2013: Join me in praying for the victims of the tragedy in Dhaka, Bangladesh, that God will grant comfort and strength to their families, tweeted Pope Francis on Saturday.

More than 340 people died when a building collapsed on Wednesday, and authorities are still working to pull out survivors from the rubble. Reports suggest as many as 900 people could still be missing.

The owner of the building is on the run, despite calls to turn himself in. Two factory bosses and two engineers have been arrested in Bangladesh on Saturday in connection with the disaster.
