(Vatican Radio) US Attorney General Eric Holder is visiting Mexico Tuesday for talks
with his opposite number about huge bi-lateral law and order challenges. The US Justice
Department confirms Attorney General Eric Holder will be meeting with Mexican Attorney
General Jesus Murillo Karam. Officials insist all meetings during the one day trip
will be in private. They do say that the main aim is the improvement of bi-lateral
cooperation, especially in Police and Judicial spheres. Mexico's savage eight year
Drug War, which is starting to spill across the Border into the United States is of
special concern. While illegal gun running from the United States, is arming the Mexican
Drug Cartels to the teeth. A US attempt to trace and control firearms crossing the
Border via Operation Fast and Furious, went wrong and had to be scrapped. Holder's
one day visit to Mexico City comes ahead of a scheduled visit by US President Barack
