The popes of the twentieth century...

(Vatican Radio) We now have Pope Francis, the second Pope of the third millennium, the first elected in the so called twitter age.

But what about the Popes of the preceding century? They are Saint Pius X elected on the 4th of August 1903 , Benedict XV on the 3rd of September 1914 ,Pius XI the founder of our radio station on the 6th February 1922, Pius XII on the 2nd March 1939, John XXIII on 28th October 1958, Paul VI on the 21st June 1963, John Paul 1st on the 26th August 1978 and Blessed John Paul II on the 16th October 1978.
