Brazil mourns nightclub fire victims

(Vatican Radio) The causes, the inadequacies and the pauses which brought about and then exasapated the Brazil nightclub blaze, that killed 232 people, injuring 48, are appearing in sharper focus.Police say a music group's pyrotechnics started the blaze at the Kiss nightclub, in the southern city of Santa Maria. It's also reported that the premises only had but one exit. That's why fire services had to punch a hole through the wall, in an attempt to divert a logjam bottleneck stampede.

President Dilma Rouseff cancelled her attendance at the Summit of Latin American countries and the European Union known as the Alliance of hte Pacific in Santiago Chile, to return and try console the famlies of victims... and those who've managed to survive.

An investigation not only has to identify and highlight flouted saftety regulations, as well as overall procedures. It also has to set out a standardized set of guidlines, which have to be met and exceeded from now on, by those who attract the young for music, bright lights and entertainment.
This was a tragedy which shouldn't have happened.
