Nigerian, Australian, Colombian ambassadors begin Holy See mission

November 05, 2012 - Pope Benedict XVI in Monday welcomed three new ambassadors to the Holy See at the start of their diplomatic mission. In separate meetings in the Vatican, Francis C. Okeke of Nigeria, John Anthony Gerard McCarthy of Australia and Germán Cardona Gutiérrez of Colombia presented their letters of credence to the Pope. Meanwhile, Ambassador Miguel Humberto Díaz of the United States bade farewell to the Pope, having ended his term of office.
