World Council of Churches holds session on Pakistan
The Geneva based World Council of Churches is holding an international meeting on
the plight of minorities in Pakistan from September 17th to 19th
to coincide with the ongoing 21st session of the UN’s Human Rights Council.
The event brings together representatives of all of Pakistan’s faith communities to discuss discrimination and in particular the misuse of the country’s harsh blasphemy laws.
