Deadly shooting in Montreal

(Vatican Radio) One person has died and a second remains seriously injured in a gun attack on Quebecois separatist leader Pauline Marois. Marois, who heads the separatist Parti Quebecois, was giving a speech in the wake of a narrow provincial election victory. Parti Quebecois, which wants independence for the French-speaking province of Quebec, is returning to power after nine years in the opposition. Listen:
