Ordinations Mark World Day of Prayer for Vocations

April 29.2012) Pope Benedict XVI will preside over a Mass in the Vatican Basilica Sunday, World Day of Prayer for Vocations, during which he will confer priestly ordination on nine deacons from Rome’s diocesan seminaries. Eight will become priests for the Diocese of Rome of which the Pope is the Bishop. Ordained together with them for the Diocese of Bui Chu in Vietnam will be Joseph Vu Van Hieu, also formed in Rome, at the Almo Collegio Capranica.
