"The Way"

Vatican Radio’s film critic, Signis’s Peter Malone who is currently based in Melbourne, Australia talks about a film that focuses on the Way of St. James.

Quite simply called “The Way”, the film is really about El camino de Santiago, the ancient pilgrimage route from the Pyrenees in southern France, across northern Spain, through Galicia to the Atlantic Ocean.

For over 1000 years, pilgrims have followed The Way, which ends at the tomb of the Apostle St. James the Greater located inside the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.

As Peter says, in the film it’s also an occasion to meet people along the way, each one searching for an answer to a dilemma….
