Blessed Pope John Paul II, a man of great spirituality: Msgr. Oder
April 03, 2012: Blessed Pope John Paul II remains in our hearts and remains among
us as a loved one, said Msgr. Slawomir Oder, postulator of the Cause of Canonization,
on 2nd April, which marked the 7th anniversary of the death
of the Pope.In an interview to Vatican Radio, he said that a very tangible sign of
the Pope is the constant visits of pilgrims to his tomb in St. Peter’s in Rome.He described the Blessed Pope as a man of great intelligence, great culture, but also of great spirituality, but at the same time, a man of religious and cultural depth.
Asked about at what point has reached the Cause of Canonization of John Paul II, he said that currently, they are waiting to pick up the sign of God to go forward with the process of canonization: that God's sign is a new miracle. There are numerous reports of miracles which need detailed study to make a good judgment, he added.
