European Commissioner calls for stronger bailout fund

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso is calling for the Euro-zone's bail out fund to be strengthened to boost investor confidence and help end the sovereign debt crisis. Eurozone countries agreed late last year to cap the bailout fund at roughly a half-trillion Euros. Key member states are expected to block any attempt to increase the size of the fund.
