Anglican Archbishop's Christmas greetings

(Dec. 21, 2 2011) Best wishes for a Merry Christmas, even if spent in the imperfection of human affairs, was addressed to the faithful by Anglican Archbishop Rowan Williams of Canterbury, England, during a BBC radio program on Tuesday.
In the message, the Anglican Primate stressed that "lurking in our minds is the idea of spending a perfect Christmas, but every year, all of our plans seem to disappear and there remains the usual confusion." He said “The story of the first Christmas however is a series of unplanned events: a surprise pregnancy and an unexpected trip that ended in total confusion for the welcome of the new arrival. But in the confusion of that first Christmas, God tells us: "Do not worry. I do not intend to wait until you have resolved everything perfectly, to be at your side. I am already there for you, and even if you abandon me, trying to make yourself and things around you perfect, each of you will feel the force of My Love”, said the Christmas message of the Anglican Primate of Canterbury.
