To mark Universal Day of human rights which falls on December 10th, Veronica Scarisbrick brings you an interview with someone who witnessed Blessed John Paul II's defence of human rights as he travelled right across the world.

He's Jesuit Cardinal Roberto Tucci , chief organizer of most of this Polish Pontiff's Apostolic journeys abroad who highlights for us some salient moments in this regard in the course of their many travels together. Among the nations the Cardinal mentions in a special way are Poland, Mexico , Holland, France , Nicaragua and Sudan.
