Benin Seminarians look forward to the Pope's visit
On Saturday, Pope Benedict visits seminarians and religious at the Seminary of St.
Gall in Ouidah, Benin and is due to pray at the tomb of Cardinal Bernardin Gantin
from Benin and a former Curial colleague of Cardinal Josef Ratzinger. The seminary
today hosts 147 students and religious from Benin and other African nations. Our
correspondent in Cotonou, Fr. Moses Hamungole speaks with one seminarian there about
his expectations and hopes for Saturday’s papal visit. Rev. Deacon Cosmas Ekwuribe
from Aba Diocese in Nigeria remarks on the post-synodal Apostolic Exhortation for
the African continent, hopes for the clergy and on Cardinal Gantin as a role model
