Jesuit community celebrates 450 years of service

A Jesuit community in Boscombe, Bournemouth, which is celebrating an extraordinary milestone this month: a total of 450 years of service to the church by priests and brothers in the community. The parish of Corpus Christi had originally originally intended to mark the 50^th anniversary of their Parish Priest, Fr Denis Blackledge, becoming a Jesuit, but expanded to include all of the anniversaries of the Jesuit priests and brothers in Bournemouth. Fr. Blackledge looked back on his and his confreres’ years of service to the Church. Listen
